  I feel compelled to describe our experience at Randall's about two weeks ago. My friend of 35 years and I were reuniting while she was in town and thought we'd take a walk on the wild side. We were greeting my singing Randall and placed at a nice table indoors by the window. His dog was very hospitable too, offering kisses and under the table action until he was seated in his chair. We said we liked seafood and he stated he had great salmon and shrimp available. That was the only discussion of what our meal might entail. There were no options nor were prices discussed at all. We asked for a glass of while wine; again we were offered a glass, not presented with options, prices, or even whatever he served us. So, we had a salad, with good greens, plenty of fruits, available now at peak of season for the most reasonable prices locally, and a 3-4 oz piece of salmon which probably came from Giant Eagle, they have wild Alaskan sockeye on sale for $11.99/lb; I had jus bought some the day before. Also, the large shrimp were on sale, frozen at 7.99/lb, farm raised at frozen; I was served 5 of them. The best thing was the crostini. No dessert was offered, and after two more glasses of wine, which may have been cheap wine-never know, and another 3 oz of salmon to take home to my friend's husband, we were charged $87. We were told to write a personal check out to Randall, no last name. He said if he serves less than 14 people a day, he doesn't have to adhere to a lot of regulations and taxes. Wanted so badly to have the great meal I had read about, but was sorely disappointed. Would love to go back when Randall's having a better day!

  Despite the beautiful atmosphere, the owner was EXTREMELY rude. Will not be back.
